BEE REMOVAL
Have your bee colonies safely removed and relocated to a bee yard (apiary) so the bees continue to thrive! There is typically no cost for removals. Property management companies and Home Owners Associations should contact to have the bees removed at no cost! A pest control company is going to charge upwards of $500 and kill the bees which is completely unnecessary!

I have removed honey bees from water meter boxes, trees, soffits, sheds, and other cavities honey bees create homes in. Depending on the access and the size of the bee hive depends on how long it will take. It is best to do this in the morning before the foraging bees take flight or before dark when the foraging bees have returned for the day. Honey bees are more agitated on rainy and windy days so it is preferred to wait until there is better weather to perform the removal.

Sometimes bees will swarm and create a ball of bees in a tree or on a plant not far off the ground. Typically, they will move within an hour. If there isn’t any honey comb, the bees are just waiting to move to a more permanent location. Just leave them alone and they will relocate. It is not necessary to do anything to a swarm of bees.
